Meeting Huxley — Narrative Guardian Encounter

Meeting Huxley is a key narrative encounter developed as part of the visual development project Newlin and the Magic Island. The scene depicts the protagonist Newlin’s first meeting with Huxley, the guardian figure residing within the island’s ancient ruins.
My contribution focuses on designing the environment, guardian character, and encounter staging to communicate story, tension, and progression through space, lighting, and composition rather than dialogue.

Designed supporting assets and key story beats through informed research and visual referencing, applying thoughtful design decisions to clearly communicate the narrative mood and tone.
